Lead
A lead is someone who has shown interest in a treatment, through a form, a message or a call, but has not yet been treated. Leads sit at the first stage of the pipeline.
When does a lead become a patient?
Anyone who fills in the form on your website, messages you on Instagram or rings to ask about prices is a lead. Some are only comparing prices and others will decide weeks later, so it pays to record where each one came from, who is looking after them and what was last discussed.
Say someone in Germany writes to a dental clinic about implants. Once they send their photos, accept the quote and have the treatment, they are a patient. Lost leads are worth recording too: noting why they were lost (price, timing, another clinic) shows which sources really bring patients and where your quotes fall short.
In Klinikbook
Each lead-form submission finds the contact or adds a new one, and opens a case assigned by your rules. Contacts carry a lifecycle, and a lead becomes a patient automatically when one of their cases is won. Older enquiries can be imported from a CSV file.
